Zombie

It’s Tuesday here and before I dive into blue ray player I thought I’d give you guys a little treat, hope you pick up this book and enjoy it as much as I have.
World War Z is a book like no other, I take the zombie threat very seriously and think Maxx Brooks is just the man to write about how Humanity will deal with a crisis of the undead nature. First off I had read his first book, The Zombie Survival Guide. I enjoyed it can’t say it is in my top 5 books of all time but a definite must have on the off chance zombies do start walking around.
World War Z is totally different; it’s not a survival guide the war is over. As the narrator he goes from country to country showing the impact the devastation, and the overall Ill prepared state of each nation to deal with such a calamity. Then there is the personal aspect of the book, each tale is told first hand, painted with such vivid detail it makes you wonder how on earth anyone could survive.
This book is for Everyone, you may not like, believe, or even care about zombies, but the way this novel is written they merely act as the catalyst for all the ill will and atrocious crimes humanity is capable of dispensing.
I was however disappointed in the audio book, I read the book and wanted to listen to the novel on the train. I got the audio book and found that chapters are missing. The chapters missing aren’t Crucial to enjoying the book, however they do cover parts of the world that without, would go without mention and I think that does a huge disservice to the book. This book is currently being adapted for the cinema and should make for a wonderful documentary; at least I hope they keep it in that fashion. Stay tuned for blue ray player buyer beware!
