John McCain on network neutrality

If you’re having trouble understanding that it’s basically like the bill of rights for the internet. You don’t pay it any mind unless it’s threatened. I would say that now is the time to act, but it seems like McCain’s proposal will fall short, if not in the senate surely at the president’s desk (network neutrality being one of his campaign priorities).
However if we where to abolish network neutrality we would only need to look as far as china for a model. There internet is the most regulated and blocked I can think of. It would be a shame for “the land of the free” to be lead into the valley of chains by one of its champions of freedom.
Like most people everyone has a price, John McCain may have found his, in the telecommunication industry.
